A professor at the UB EOC, I have published more than 170 stories, poems, papers, and public radio essays.My books and plays include The Wheel of Desire, Shimmerville, Dots, Matter of Intent, Picture Perfect, Sleepwalker, and The Best Woman. I am a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and the Mystery Writers of America.

In May 2008 I went to Hawaii to visit my son David and his family before his third trip to Iraq. One of the highlights of the trip was getting into a shark cage with David and his friend Chris, visiting from Pennsylvania. Click on SharkBits to watch the short version of the video.
